The research design that was used in the study was the non-experimental, descriptive method. The study focused on knowing the coping mechanism of single parent of children with special needs at selected special education (SPED) schools aging from 19 years old and below and 60 years old and above. The respondents of the study were chosen using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The adapted modified questionnaire was utilized to collect information regarding the coping mechanism of single parents of children with special needs. Data was analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and t-test. Most of the respondents belong to 30-39 years of age.
