The study utilized correlational research design in the analysis and interpretation of the results of the study. Using purposive sampling, a total of 64 respondents participated in the study. The researchers gained the approval to used the Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire Version 1.50 Short Form from Dr. Konstantin Vasily “Dino” Petrides of the Institute of Education at University of London to measure the emotional intelligence of the respondents. The statistical treatment used in the study is mean, frequency, percentage, independent t-test and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient.
