The research study utilized the descriptive research design. It was conducted on selected densely populated areas in Imus City, Cavite. The respondents were 396 female residents aged 30 and above and selected through stratified cluster sampling technique. This study used an adapted and modified questionnaire from the study of Magdalena Lagerlun and others (2000) which entitled “Attitudes, Beliefs and Knowledge as Predictors of Nonattendance in a Swedish Population-Based Mammography Screening Program.” Data was analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA.
