This was a cross-sectional type of study. Ninety (90) full-time nurses were selected using stratified random sampling. The gold standard for Burnout Syndrome measurement, the Maslach Inventory, was utilized, while confounding variables were measured using a questionnaire. Only full-time junior nurses, with less than 2 years of work experience, who directly handle patient care were considered, regardless of department. 30 nurses were selected from each of the three strata (AM, PM, and night shift.
