This study was based on the analytical, observational, cross-sectional research design. A total of 42 respondents were selected via cluster sampling, which included parents of pediatric in-patients with acute illness whose children had been provided with care by junior interns batch 2015 during the course of their hospitalization. Self-administered questionnaire was used for data gathering and data was analysed using chi-square.The most common causes of stress and anxiety experienced by the respondents arose from problems related to finances and money, followed by stress from work, and stress due to serious illness.
