This thesis presents an alternative method for finding the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a certain n x n matrix without the use of determinants. This alternative method was discussed by William A. McWorter Jr. and Leroy F. Meyers in their article entitled Computing Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors Without Determinants . Some fundamental concepts in Linear Algebra, which are needed in the discussion, are presented in this paper
