The study is concerned with the conceptualizations of the hearing impaired about the hearing society they interact with. Specifically, this study sought to address the following: 1) the personal experiences of the hearing impaired in different social settings 2) definitions, perceptions, and conceptualizations of the hearing imparied about the members of the non-disabled society that they interact with and 3) effects of these experiences on their social interactons.The objectives of the study were carried out using a descriptive research design.
