This study is about the perception of severely burned individuals with respect to their selves and others\u27 appraisal. In this regard, the study also touched on how these perceptions affected their self-esteem. A sample of seven participants who suffered second to third degree burns participated in the study. The participants belonged to the age bracket of 16 to 24 years of age during the incident that caused the deformity which occurred not more than three years ago. A case analysis using qualitative approach to data analysis was employed using an in-depth unstructured interview.
