This paper studies and explores the lives of a sample of stay-at-home fathers, specifically their reasons, thoughts, feelings, as well as their roles and responsibilities. The researchers delved into the problem by interviewing a sample of Filipino stay-at-home fathers using thematic analysis to gather information. Stay-at-home fathers are struggling to fit into their roles as they are stuck in a situation where they need to act as the caretaker and housekeeper. Likewise, most, if not all of them are experiencing more negative thoughts and feelings than the positive thoughts and feelings.
