In this study, the researchers focused on the Philippines concept of under-de-saya which is also known as ander. This can be defined by the continuous tormenting of a wife towards her husband. This can be done through different ways such as nagging and harassing an individual (Ang, De Jesus, & Ong, 2001). Ander also involves power in the relationship between two individuals wherein there is one who exerts influence and another who is influenced (Gerber, 1988).
