Abot Kamay is a documentary film that features Maricon Panganiban, a goal-driven scholar of Cavite Institute, who finishes her secondary education through the scholarship program called WISHCRAFT (We Integrate Scholarship with the Collection of Recyclables and Frequently-generated Trash). The documentary shows how Maricon, coming from a low-income earner family, benefits from the scholarship opportunity that allows her to find her school fees in exchange of frequently generated trash. We also unfold the subject\u27s different daily activities such as going to school, being with her family and friends collecting of recyclable materials from every household in her community.
