The popularity of the field of robotics has been growing exceptionally throughout the years. Through this technology, different tasks usually done by humans manually can be done more accurately and efficiently. Harvesting under the scorching sun is a very laborious task for humans. Thus, this study aims to provide an efficient alternative by designing an autonomous fruit picker. This said fruit picker for machine vision which is responsible for capturing the image which would be processed to locate the distance of plant and orange from the robotic arm.
