The study investigated the adjustment behaviors of full-time professors of De La Salle University along side their adaptability to the social, economic, and emotional challenges posed by retirement. A sequential exploratory mixed method approach was utilized to collect the data. Interviews were conducted through the use of semi-structured interview questions in order to gather the qualitative data regarding the adjustment and adaptability of full-time professors to the challenges of retirement. The qualitative data was analyzed through the use of Thematic analysis and themes were generated.
