Decision-making process of first time youth voters

The study is about the decision-making process of first time youth voters, and how they decide to participate politically. Political participation as defined in the study is in terms of registering and voting. This mixed method research was conducted among college students studying in Metro Manila. The study analyzed how factors of influence and perception towards the candidate affect the decision-making of the youth. By means of conducting focus group discussions and administering a survey, the study shows that influence affects registering and candidate perception affects voting.
