The study involved the combustion of cleaned and uncleaned Philippine coals as well as imported coals (China and Russia) using a thermogravimetric analyzer. The combustion experiments were conducted in order to determine which type of coal is in parallel with imported coals.The experimental test included the cleaning of coal by oil agglomeration technique before combustion.The combustion tests using Badeco, Bislig, Cebu, Mcc-iligan and Mindoro coals were conducted in order to investigate the thermogravimetric analysis and behavior of cleaned and uncleaned coals.
