The aim of the study is to find out the attributions that lead to marital success. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 married couples who are living together for at least 20 years. In addition, 15 separated individuals with no intentions of reconciling with their former spouses whom they live with for at least two years, have at least one child and living in Metro Manila also participated in the study. Data were analyzed qualitatively by lifting the verbatims from the responses which answered the research problems.
