This study explores the use of thematic analysis of the semi-structured face-to-face interviews to simultaneously investigate the perceived effects of worklife balance and cultural orientation on the managerial skills of a sample of Filipino-Chinese businesswomen (n=22), entrepreneur and/or holds a management position in a company, in Metro Manila. The results of the study found that the state of worklife balance and cultural orientation affects managerial skills at a certain degree. However, the findings revealed that the state of worklife balance and cultural orientation affects job performance greater than the managerial skills itself.
