A total of nineteen compounds are isolated from the six trees covered in this study.Four new cassane diterpenes 6B-hydroxy-vouacapen-5a-01 (CB33), 6B-benzoyl-7B-hydroxy-vouacapen-5a-01 (CB26) and 6B-benzoyl-8,9,11, 14-didehydro-vouacapen-5a-01 (CB \u27isomer\u27) were obtained from the DCM extract of Caesalpinia pulcherrima. Their structures were elucidated by extensive ID and 2D NMR analysis. CB22, a probable new furanoditerpene monoacetate variation of CB33, could not be fully elucidated due to its minimal amount and the presence of impurities.
