The current study developed and tested a model that predicts organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) using job satisfaction and organizational commitment as predictors. The model also further depicts core self evaluations and job characteristics as predictors of job satisfaction. Descriptive correlational design was employed in the study wherein data came from 97 frontline customer service employees of a bank. Structural equations modeling using partial least square approach was used to test and analyze the model. Results indicated that organizational commitment is directly related to organizational citizenship behavior and it mediates the link between job satisfaction and OCB.
