The medal\u27s obverse features a design after Lloyd Ostendorf\u27s original artwork that depicts Lincoln delivering the Gettysburg Address. On the reverse, a short excerpt from the Gettysburg Address appears. A laurel wreath borders the lower half of the medal. The medal is mounted in a leather slipcase album, which is Volume II of a two-volume set.
