The 1862 Council of War

The bronze statuette depicts three figures: George McClellan (at left) Abraham Lincoln (at center), and John G. Nicolay, Lincoln\u27s private secretary (at right). McClellan wears a Union uniform while holding a sword. A tripod of rifles stand behind him, which surround a drum. Lincoln is dressed in his typical attire, a long overcoat and top hat. He stands with his proper right hand at his hip. The last figure, Nicolay, is dressed in a similar fashion. He carries a book in his proper right hand and his hat in his proper left.
