Electric Light and Power Plant, Pascagoula, Mississippi

This black and white postcard features a large multilevel building with a tall smoke stack in the center that is emitting smoke. The building has several pine trees around and in front of it. A horse and wagon is standing in front of the corner end of the building and the wagon is emblazoned with the words: Pascagoula St. RY and Power Co. then ICE No. 1. A man appears to be loading something in the wagon. An Note the umbrella over the wagon-driver. Another horse and wagon with two men are parked in front of the entrance to the building. The building has on it Pascagoula Street Railway and Power Company. The title along the bottom reads Electric Light and Power Plant, Pascagoula. The publisher information is located in the lower left corner of the image and an inscription is handwritten in the white space beneath the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked July 2, 1907 with the location too faded to read.
