This color postcard features the three and four story buildings on the left side of a street. A sign for “The Edwards” is just below the roof line of the corner building, a Coca-Cola sign on the street level around the corner, and the sign above the first floor of the corner building reads, McIntyre Brothers Drug Store . Bicycles can also be seen leaning against street poles. The title in the upper right of the card identifies the images as Capitol Street, East From Depot, Jackson, Mississippi. The donor notes, Capitol Street, looking East from Union Depot, Jackson, Miss., 1921. The image is horse and buggy and pre-auto and probably dates to 1905.
