La justificación de la pertinencia científica de este trabajo se encuentra en la necesidad de la comunidad académica de investigar los aspectos relacionados directamente con el desempeño académico. El objetivo del mismo es determinar la influencia que tiene el otorgamiento de becas y la capacidad de aprendizaje de los estudiantes sobre la cantidad de personas con mayor formación académica. Esta investigación se puede clasificar como exploratoria, empírica y deductiva.
