LITERASI BUDAYA LACAK DI KALANGAN MASYARAKAT JAMBI KOTA SEBERANG

This thesis discusses the literacy of lacak culture in the Jambi City community. The purpose of this study is to find out how the community's ability to access, evaluate and how to use and communicate cultural information is lacak. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach and data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis and research findings, the ability of the Arab village of Malay community in Seberang City to access information can be categorized quite well. This can be seen from most of the meaning of the culture of lacak and can identify sources of information about the culture of lacak through various media both documents, museums, the Internet, or other social media or ask someone who understands culture, as a medium of access to information. Then the ability of the Arab village of Malayof Seberang in evaluating information can be categorized quite well. This can be seen that the people of the Arab village of Malay in Seberang City to evaluate the cultural information they obtain by determining what culture will be sought and sorting out information that the information they have obtained is really appropriate and relevant. And the ability of the Malay Jambi Kelurahan in Seberang City to use and disseminate information can be categorized as good. It can be seen that they use it as personal knowledge and disseminate it to other people who are considered to need information about the culture of the lacak and as an addition to their insight and knowledge about culture
