This study determined the prevalence of burnout and identified the socio-demographic and professional factors that influence burnout among secondary school teachers. A study by self-administered questionnaire made it possible to collect the data. SPSS version 20.0 software allowed us to analyze the data. 244 teachers aged 20 to 60 were included. The prevalence of burnout was 57.79%. Note that 19% of the variance in emotional exhaustion is explained by length of service in the establishment, age, marital status and sex [R2 = 0.19, F (4, 239) = 4.96, p <0.05].
