A program of basketball games played at Memorial Gymnasium, Memphis State College, on February 18, 1941, and a clipping on the game from the Memphis Press-Scimitar the following day. The feature game was the New York Celtics (Pro-Champs) vs Memphis State College (Memphis Collegiate Champs). The Tigers lost to the World Champion Celtics, 48-43. The Memphis Press-Scimitar described the game as uproariously ridiculous a contest as Memphis has ever seen. For three full quarters, Celtics forward Davey Banks and crew gave a dazzling exhibition and scored almost at will to simply maintain their lead.
