The almost completed twin towers complex developed by Allen Bros. and O\u27Hara on South Highland Street between Norriswood and Watauga in July 1966. The buildings were intended to be used as dormitories by Memphis State university and accommodate 1,000 students. The complex was later named Highland Towers.
