Postcard dated October 11-16, 1904, St. Louis, Missouri, with a picture of Floy Hill Eckford, probably from the Louisiana Purchase Exposition or World’s Fair held there. The following note is written on the card: Behold! The mogals wife in the auto - Floy . Floy Hill Eckford is noted on the address side of the card which was not mailed. Alta Floy Eckford (1886-1906) was the daughter of Alphonso and Isabelle Hill of Memphis, and she had married Charles Eckford two months earlier.https://digitalcommons.memphis.edu/speccoll-mss-merriamfamily1/1001/thumbnail.jp
