Uwarunkowania procesów inwestycyjnych w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach

The article focuses on the investment determinants in small and medium-sized companies. The corporate investment activity comes as a result of the implementation of its development strategy, it is a condition of response to customer expectations, reaction to the activities of competition, but also the enlargement of the company’s own internal potential. In the conditions of rapid changes in the environment, a growing anxiety about corporate operation, investments require from them many analyses, accounting for expectations of a wide spectrum of stakeholders and the implementation of projects which would reflect creative activities. Therefore, the aim of this article is to present selected results of empirical research of the factors which determine investment undertaken by small and medium-sized companies and to identify barriers appearing in this area.W artykule skoncentrowano uwagę na uwarunkowaniach prowadzenia inwestycji w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach. Prowadzenie działalności inwestycyjnej przez przedsiębiorstwo to wynik realizacji jego strategii rozwoju, to warunek odpowiedzi na oczekiwania klientów, reakcji na działania konkurencji, ale i powiększania wewnętrznego potencjału. W warunkach dużej zmienności otoczenia, rosnącej niepewności funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw, inwestycje wymagają od nich prowadzenia wielu analiz, uwzględniania oczekiwań szerokiego kręgu interesariuszy oraz realizacji projektów, które będą stanowić przejaw kreatywnego działania. Dlatego artykuł ma na celu zaprezentowanie wybranych wyników badań empirycznych dotyczących czynników warunkujących podejmowanie inwestycji przez małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa oraz identyfikacji barier, występujących w tym zakresie
