This was a quasi-experimental study designed to deter mine the effectiveness of a planned sexual health teaching program for fifth grade students. The null hypothesis stated that when the sexual health knowledge of fifth grade students who participated in a sexual health teaching program was compared to the sexual health knowledge of fifth grade students who did not participate in a sexual health teaching program, there would be no significant difference. Subjects were selected from two different schools. School A was the experimental group and consisted of 36 students. School B was the control group and also included 36 students.
