Background: Identification of insulin resistance is very important in management of type 2 diabetes. The euglycemic insulin clamp method, intravenous glucose tolerance tests (IVGTT) and minimal model approximation of glucose (MMAMG) are standard methods of measurement of insulin resistance in research.
