Introduction: Coronavirus can be responsible for severe dyspnea. Rehabilitation nurses have the knowledge and specialized interventions to control and reduce dyspnea. Objective: To identify health outcomes from rehabilitation nursing care in the control and reduction of dyspnea by optimizing the ventilatory function of a patient with COVID-19. Method: Descriptive study of a case study prepared according to guidelines of CAse REport. It is presented a case of a patient with COVID-19 characterized by the presence of dyspnea and greater confinement to the bed due to isolation’s measure.
