Abstract

Dr. David Heinrichs is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Western University. Dr. Heinrichs has a background in microbiology and obtained a doctorate at Queen's University. His research investigates the molecular basis of Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections, with a special focus on the mechanisms MRSA uses to acquire growth promoting nutrients.
