Many people agree that exercise is needed to create a happy and healthy lifestyle, however little of the media influence or research studies go beyond the physical benefits of being active. This research paper examines three different exercise modes and their effect on the internal motivator - mood. Mood change over a single session of each exercise was measured on the Current Mood States Scale. Analysis of variance found no significant mood change difference, suggesting that although mood improves with exercise, the type of exercise does not affect the amount of change.
