Desarrollo de plantones de quenual (polylepis incana) en vivero como efecto de los distintos sustratos postrasplante

The objective was to determine the effect of the substrates on the vegetative propagation of the quenual, under nursery conditions. To meet this objective, a nursery trial was carried out in the town of Huacrachuco. The design was in DCA with 4 treatments and three repetitions, the treatments were the different substrates used to produce quenual seedlings in the nursery phase, these substrates were designed with the existing resources in the area, with low costs. A Control treatment (T0, with agricultural land + fine sand), T1 (black earth + humus + fine sand), T2 (agricultural land + black earth + fine sand) and treatment T3 (agricultural land + humus + fine sand) were used. ). The results indicated that T3 and T2 as the most recommended substrates to obtain seedlings with a greater number of shoots, a greater number of leaves, a greater length of the main root and among other desirable characteristics for a well-bearing and healthy seedling. These differences between treatments were magnified at 90 days after transplantation. The organic matter of the substrates was closely related to the vegetative development variables, as well as the N, P and K of the substrates strongly explained the development of the quenual seedlings. In conclusion, the substrate used with the T3 composed of agricultural soil plus humus and fine sand is the most suitable substrate to obtain well-developed vegetative seedlings.El objetivo fue determinar el efecto de los sustratos en la propagación vegetativa del quenual, en condiciones de vivero. El diseño fue en DCA con 4 tratamientos y tres repeticiones, los tratamientos fueron los distintos sustratos usados para producir plantones de quenual en la fase de vivero, estos sustratos fueron diseñados con los recursos existentes en la zona, de bajos costos. Se usó un tratamiento Control (T0, con tierra agrícola + arena fina), T1 (tierra negra + humus + arena fina), T2 (tierra agrícola + tierra negra + arena fina) y el tratamiento T3 (tierra agrícola + humus + arena fina). Los resultados indicaron que el T3 y T2 como los sustratos más recomendables para obtener plantones con mayor número de brotes, mayor número de hojas, mayor longitud de raíz principal y entre otras características deseables para un plantón de buen porte y saludable. Estas diferencias entre los tratamientos se magnificaron a los 90 días después del trasplante. La materia orgánica de los sustratos se relacionó estrechamente con las variables de desarrollo vegetativo, así como el N, P y K de los sustratos explicaron fuertemente el desarrollo de los plantones de quenual. En conclusión, el sustrato usado con el T3 compuesto de tierra agrícola más humus y arena fina es el sustrato más adecuado para obtener plantones bien desarrollados vegetativamente
