La flexibilité et la performance logistique des prestataires de services logistiques marocains : résultats d'une étude empirique

This paper has a dual objective; firstly, it aims to raise the logistics flexibility of Moroccan logistics service providers. Secondly, understand the process by which this capacity contributes to the logistics performance.  Regarding our positioning, this paper is founded on dynamic capacity theory, which consists of explaining how companies can maintain their performance in a dynamic environment. Regarding our research methodology, we adopted for an in-depth qualitative approach, based on a sample of sixteen logistics service providers. We used the interview method as a data collection method, especially the centered semi-directive interview. This type of interview offers an in-depth vision. Such depth vision is very fateful for studies founded on qualitative method. The nature of the qualitative methodology in which our work is part as well as the method of data collection chosen, important round the use of an interview guide for the consistency of the data collected from the field of study. The course of interviews went through two stages. Then the kind of qualitative methodology chosen as well as the method of data collection adopted, make important the use of an interview guide for the consistency of the data collected from the field of study. Regarding the manner in which our interviews took place, these take place in two steps. The first step concerns making contact, which focused on explaining the interview process, acknowledging the participants and setting out our objectives. The second step is linked to conducting the interview based on the interview guide elaborated. The results of this research show that the logistical flexibility of Moroccan logistics service providers contributes to logistics performance. They also highlight the emergence of new mediating and moderating variables; "customer response" which mediates the relationship between flexibility and logistics performance. The moderating variable "communication" which strengthens the relationship between customer response and logistics performance. JEL Classification : R41Paper type: Empirical research.Le présent papier a un double objectif : relever la flexibilité logistique des PSL marocains et appréhender le processus par lequel cette capacité contribue à la performance logistique desdits PSL. Quant au positionnement ce travail s’inscrit dans le champ de la théorie des capacités dynamique qui consiste à expliquer comment les entreprises peuvent maintenir leur performance dans un environnement dynamique. Sur le plan méthodologique, nous avons opté pour une approche qualitative en profondeur, basée sur un échantillon de seize PSL. Ainsi nous avons mobilisé la méthode des entretiens comme méthode de recueil des données. Spécialement l’entretien semi-directif centré. Ce type d’entretien permet d’aborder en profondeur le phénomène objet d’entretien. Une telle profondeur est bien cruciale pour les études qualitatives. La nature de la méthodologie qualitative dans laquelle s‘est inscrit notre travail ainsi que la méthode de recueil des données choisie, rond important l‘utilisation d‘un guide d‘entretien pour la cohérence des données collectées du terrain d‘étude. Le déroulement des entretiens s’est passé par deux étapes. La première étape concerne la prise de contact qui était axée sur l’explication de la démarche de l’entretien, les remerciements des participants et d’exposition de nos objectifs. La deuxième est celle de conduite de l’entretien présenté sous forme des thèmes. Les résultats de cette recherche montrent que la flexibilité logistique des PSL marocains contribue à la performance logistique. Ils mettent également en évidence l’émergence de nouvelles variables médiatrice et modératrice ; il s’agit de la « réponse client » qui médiatise la relation flexibilité et performance logistique.
