This research concerned about the comparative study of students’ reading comprehension by using silent reading technique and loud reading technique. The formulation of the problem: Is there the different between silent reading technique and loud reading technique teaching on students’ reading comprehension text at grade XI SMA Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan?
