Comparison of mathematics learning outcomes through cooperative learning model teams games tournament type with jigsaw type learning model in the material of the eighth grade Students of Padangsidimpuan Middle School 9 N

This research is motivated because the students still tend to be less active in the learning process and prefer to be silent than to ask about material that is poorly understood, and the learning process is boring, so it is necessary to make changes in teaching learning in the classroom using learning models that motivating more active students, including cooperative learning models of the Teams Games Tournament type and Jigsaw cooperative learning models. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there were differences in mathematics learning outcomes through cooperative learning models of the Teams Games Tournament type with the Jigsaw type learning model in the collection material for class VII students of Padangsidimpuan Middle School 9. This research is a comparative study using the experimental method. This research was conducted in Padangsidimpuan 9th Middle School with a sample of A VII-3 experimental class totaling 22 students and experimental class B VII-4, amounting to 22 students. The instrument of data collection used was an objective test in the form of multiple choices.
