The concept of intergroup forgiveness has recently been put forward mainly to understand emerging conflicts coming from the past and to and understand and examine the bases of reconciliation. The primary aim of this study is to examine the roots of intergroup forgiveness in Turkey. Within this context, in the present study, willingness to forgive outgroups is investigated –for Turks as ethnic majority group- and Armenians and Kurds as the minority groups.
