The overall aim of this study is to examine the effects of implementing behaviour based safety management approach on the safety culture of the organization. In accordance with this aim, the main objectives of this study are to evaluate and compare the safety culture maturity level of two companies serving in the same industry (defence industry) and having the same service areas. With this comparison, it is also aimed to show the difference between companies which one using the behaviour-based safety concept since 2009 and other using traditional safety programs.
