Controlling and adjusting daylight for museum buildings is critical. The shortage of light in a space runs the risk of loss of vision, while excessive amounts of light causes visual discomfort, and especially in museums, can be destructive for art collections. The aim of this research is the development of a computational design method that supports control and adjustment of daylighting illumination level to satisfy both of the above-mentioned goals while ensuring indirect daylighting within the museum.
