In this thesis, different loading cases of four-point contact slewing bearings and load distribution on the balls are investigated. The purpose is to determine that analytical modeling of load and deflections which give more effective results as compared to numerical solutions. In order to have numerical solutions, complex finite element models are needed to be prepared with many assumptions. With analytical method, the solutions can be done with fewer simplifications as compared to FEA models. In order to be able to use analytical model for four-point contact bearings the results of finite element modeling and analytical method for load distribution on the balls are compared with each other for simplified models.
