Immobilization of yeast cells (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) in different polymer matrices was performed by constant potential electrolysis. These matrices were polypyrrole (PPy); poly(methyl methacrylate)/polypyrrole (,PMMA/PPy) and thiophene-capped poly(methyl methacrylate)/ polypyrrole (TPMMA/PPy).
