This dissertation aimed to investigate whether individual interest and achievementgoal orientations facilitate learning and task performance. Through quasi experimental design, we tested the hypothesized effects of individual interest, achievement-goal orientations, and their interactions on rote learning, meaningful learning, and worthy performance distinctly.
