The potential of solidification/stabilization (S/S) technology for the safe disposal of hazardous wastes has wide spread recognition. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of portland cement-based S/S technology for the safe disposal of hazardous wastes containing toxic metals and organic contaminants.
