In general, current distributions for different microstrip structures such as Single Microstrip Line (SML), Coupled Microstrip Line (CML) and Microstrip Patch Antenna (MPA) are obtained by using Method of Moments (MoM) in conjuction with closed-form spatial domain Green’s functions. Specifically, MPA is designed to obtain a Wideband Microstrip Patch Antenna (WMPA). The current distribution is acquired by the same analysis and bandwidth is obtained from the return loss graph for this WMPA. Standard MPA and WMPA bandwidths are compared.
