El docente universitario frente al perfil didáctico profesional: Artículo de revisión bibliográfica

This article proposes an approach that encourages a professional didactic look to be developed in university careers professors, in which the integration of different kinds of knowledge associated with the field of Higher Education Didactics in the Ecuadorian context.  It is based on the competence-based vocational training approach in the field of Higher Education. It was conceived through the methods of analysis, synthesis, document review and the system approach that allowed configuring the training structure of this competence. It can be generalized at the national and international level with the proper contextualization to the demands of the training process of university students. Keywords: competence, higher education, university teacher.El presente artículo propone un enfoque que propicia una mirada didáctica profesional a desarrollar en los docentes de carreras universitarias, en la cual se expresa la integración de saberes de distinta naturaleza asociados al campo de la Didáctica de la Educación Superior en el contexto ecuatoriano. Se sustenta en el enfoque de formación profesional basada en competencias en el campo de la Educación Superior. Fue concebida mediante los métodos de análisis, síntesis, revisión de documentos y el enfoque de sistema que permitió configurar la estructura formativa de esta competencia. Puede generalizarse a nivel nacional e internacional con la debida contextualización a las exigencias del proceso formativo de los estudiantes de carreras universitarias.
