Sustainable marketing strategies are powerful tools that can help to position a product in a sustainable way and much better if it is a tourist product. In recent decades, tourism has shown itself as a potential for economic growth in several countries. The objective of this study is to design sustainable marketing strategies to position the city of Portoviejo, and the Crucita Parish, Ecuador; as a tourist destination.
