Innovative Learning to Enhance Effective English Learning

As educators in carrying out the process of learning and teaching will always be focused on how to deliver material to students well, so that students will understand teaching materials. The objective of this article was to describe some strategies and media used to create innovative learning to enhance effective English learning. Learner understanding is important in the teaching and learning process because it is the final result of the learning and teaching process. The final result is also accompanied by an equally important thing, namely the existence of a strategy in the innovative learning and teaching process that creates effective learning. The result of this study indicated that some platform was very potential to be developed as an innovative media for learning English language that can be used in virtual class of teaching and learning forum on ICT based. In brief, English teachers can use some platforms like Zoom, Google Meet in teaching and learning. Learning is called effective if it can facilitate students to achieve specified learning goals. For this reason, teachers need to develop strategies that are appropriate to the characteristics of students and be able to make it reach the competencies specified in the learning objectives. In this case the use of media is also needed in innovative learning. Innovative learning using learning strategies and the use of media are very important to create effective English language learning, especially the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. &nbsp
